How it Began:

The FeelGood Blogs network began in June of 2010 with WelcomeHomeBlog.com (WHB). While I don’t have any personal connection to the military, I have always thought military reunion videos to be especially touching. After realizing that there wasn’t a centralized location on the web to view videos of this sort, I decided to create one myself.

WHB was instantly a hit (months before those Lifetime and TLC shows… ). Military families from all over the world began sharing their clips on the blog, and hundreds of appreciative emails began to pour in. The site seemed to offer military members and their families a means of catharsis during the tough times of deployment. While a little website is nothing compared to the sacrifices made by our armed forces and their families, I was (and still am) grateful for being able to help people smile with every blog update.

And that’s how I got the idea for FeelGood Blogs. With all of the talk of cyber-bullying, and the lot of hateful websites out there, the Internet is full of negativity. I wanted to create a network of different blogs that just, well… make you feel good. I think that positivity is extremely important, and it’s my goal to grow and spread the word about this network for many years to come.
